This was an amazing Amazon experience. The boat journey to the lodge is long and relaxing and exciting all at the same time. Food service is excellent. As long as you have adequate bug-sprayed on skin you will love every minute of this stay. Have fun.

We had the best time at Nicky Amazon Lodge. Right from the moment of enquiring about the trip, the service has been excellent and I cannot fault it. The transport to and from the lodge was stress-free. The accomodation itself exceeded our expectations, and the food was incredible. It felt like you were going to a nice restaurant for every meal. Our guide, Rom, was all outstanding and we saw everything we were hoping to see and more. We also learnt a lot about the biodiversity and the community living inside the Amazon. Highly recommend this for your trip to Ecuador

Such an impressive adventure, super mice guys, great tours in stunning nature; something very very special - a highlight on my latin america trip; rooms are very nice and the food is really really amazing and also super healthy; thanks from my heart to the whole team for this great special time;

The night bus is a nightmare, but all is forgotten once you are in the motor canoe. And the people at Nicky Lodge... amazing. Really feels like family by the time you are leaving. Will never forget this place!

L’esperienza è immersiva sotto tutti i punti di vista: la natura, gli animali, il lodge stesso, le amicizie che si creano. Saremmo voluti rimanere molto di più! Speriamo di tornare presto

Nous ne partons que demain matin de Nicky Lodge, et nous avons la nostalgie de quitter ce lieu et cette équipe incroyables! Tout était parfait. Même mieux que ce que l'on attendait ! Nous avons eu Anshy comme guide, pendant 4 jours et 3 nuits. Elle est géniale et vraiment super avec nos filles. Les excursions en canoë, dans la forêt ou dans la communauté voisine resteront gravés pour nous 4! Beaucoup beaucoup d'animaux en la rivière ou dans la forêt 🫶 parfait !!! Je recommande le séjour 4 nuits/3 jours Pour profiter à fond ce lieu magique !

Pasamos 4 días en Nicky Lodge y fue una experiencia única e inolvidable. La ubicación es espectacular y todo el equipo hizo que nuestra estadía fuera aún más especial. Rom fue nuestra guía durante esos días, y su experiencia, conocimiento y pasión por lo que hace se reflejan en cada actividad. También queremos agradecer a Freddy, Khaled, Erik y a todo el personal, que fueron siempre amables, atentos y profesionales. Fue una experiencia verdaderamente mágica: los paisajes, las excursiones, conocer a Mamá Aurora en la comunidad y bañarnos en la Laguna Grande al atardecer. Cada momento fue especial. Sin duda, una experiencia increíble que recomendamos a cualquiera que quiera descubrir la Amazonía de una forma auténtica.

Incredible experience from start to finish (except the bus ride haha which was a bit long but comfortable). Our guide, Elios, was very knowledgeable, he explained the variety of flora and fauna around us, making sure to provide a thorough description and try to maximize our experience of what we saw. The canoe driver and lodge staff were also very kind and helpful. The rooms are massive, with four beds, and super comfortable. They had mosquito nets and hot showers with a hammock outside each room. I would highly recommend this lodge!

Wow… what an experience this was. I only spent 5 days there, but honestly, the Amazon completely blew me away from the very beginning. Even the 3-hour boat ride to the lodge felt unreal — we saw dozens of monkeys jumping above our heads everywhere, tons of birds, sloths, caimans, even a baby anaconda. During the week, you get to explore all kinds of amazing places in the rainforest. One of the highlights for me was this beautiful lagoon where we went swimming at sunset, and then heading back by boat under a crazy bright starry sky. Absolutely unforgettable. You’ll also see river dolphins, whole caiman families, and somehow even end up swimming in a river where you spotted a 3-meter caiman the day before 😄. The jungle walks were incredible too — if you love nature, this is the right place. You learn so much about the plants, insects, animals, and how this whole ecosystem works. And our guide, Rom, made the trip even better. Super knowledgeable about the jungle and life there, but also just a really fun, warm-hearted guy to spend time with. Honestly, the whole crew at Nicky Lodge was amazing and made the experience feel special from start to finish. If you’ve been dreaming about a real Amazon jungle adventure, just go for it.
